Partnership with Parents
Children benefit when parents and educators work together. For this reason, parents’ involvement in their children’s education is a priority for us.
Communication: Our teachers and staff are committed to keeping you connected to your child’s day and always informed of your child’s progress through:
Regular parent and teacher conferences
Parent communication boards
Written daily communication specific to your needs
Regular assessments of your child in many areas
Portfolios that collect your child’s work and capture learning.
Parents Guide: Upon registering your child, you will receive a copy of our Parents Guide, this comprehensive guide will give you an overview of our educational and activities programs and explain our objective and approach to provide a healthy, creative environment in which children can develop, observe, learn and have fun. The information it contains will help you support your child’s learning experience.
Events: Our partnership with parents will be nourished through social several events that we plan throughout the year such as Field Trips, End of Term Parties and Graduation, Music With Mummy sessions and Tea parties.
Teddy Parents Library : A nice collection of Fairy Tales, Bed Time Stories and more is now available for you to borrow & read to your child at home. Reading together at home is children’s earliest and most important learning experience as it helps raise a ready reader, expands our children’s horizons, quells fears, exposes them to new situations, and teaches them appropriate behavior. To borrow a book, all you need to do is fill our library information card and you will receive your Teddy Bear Library Card the next day! You are all invited to contribute to our Library collection by donating new or used books.
Parents Forum: As Teddy Bear Nursery marks its fifth year being one of the first childcare providers in Khalifa City A (established in 2008), we are launching a series of Parents Forums focusing on topics of concern to many parents such as “Applying to schools”, “Safety at home”, “Potty training”, “The Importance of sleep” and “Managing your child’s health”. This is a chance for you to come and gather as parents and we openly talk and share ideas each month about a different topic relating to children’s health and routines.
For more information on upcoming events and forums email at Teddy Bear Nursery please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
