Partnership with Parents

Children benefit when parents and educators work together. For this reason, parents’ involvement in their children’s education is a priority for us.

Communication: Our teachers and staff are committed to keeping you connected to your child’s day and always informed of your child’s progress through:
Regular parent and teacher conferences
Monthly Newsletters
Parent communication boards
Written daily communication specific to your needs
Regular assessments of your child in many areas
Portfolios that collect your child’s work and capture learning.

Parents Guide: Upon registering your child, you will receive a copy of our Parents Guide, this comprehensive guide will give you an overview of our educational and activities programs and explain our objective and approach to provide a healthy, creative environment in which children can develop, observe, learn and have fun. The information it contains will help you support your child’s learning experience.

Events: Our partnership with parents will be nourished through social several events that we plan throughout the year such as Field Trips, End of Term Parties and Graduation, Music With Mummy sessions and Tea parties.

Teddy Parents Library : A nice collection of Fairy Tales, Bed Time Stories and more is now available for you to borrow & read to your child at home. Reading together at home is children’s earliest and most important learning experience as it helps raise a ready reader, expands our children’s horizons, quells fears, exposes them to new situations, and teaches them appropriate behavior. To borrow a book, all you need to do is fill our library information card and you will receive your Teddy Bear Library Card the next day! You are all invited to contribute to our Library collection by donating new or used books.

Parents Forum: As Teddy Bear Nursery marks its fifth year being one of the first childcare providers in Khalifa City A (established in 2008), we are launching a series of Parents Forums focusing on topics of concern to many parents such as “Applying to schools”, “Safety at home”, “Potty training”, “The Importance of sleep” and “Managing your child’s health”.  This is a chance for you to come and gather as parents and we openly talk and share ideas each month about a different topic relating to children’s health and routines.

For more information on upcoming events and forums email at Teddy Bear Nursery please email us at admin@teddybearnursery.net.

Parents Testimonials

“Teddy Bear American Nursery highly meets my expectations of a nursery for my children. I had my son start at Teddy Bear since he was 3 years old in 2013 and they did a great job making him comfortable with adjusting to the new nursery environment and being away from home for the very first time. When my daughter turned 3 years old in 2015 I also enrolled her to Teddy Bear and we’ve had a great experience with her as well. Both of my children adjusted very quickly and love the school. I have a lot of friends that recommended me this nursery when I first moved to Abu Dhabi and I’m glad I went with their suggestion. I also recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, attentive, great staff and safe nursery in Khalifa City A.” – Frances Roper (mother of Colley Teddy4b – 2016

“Teddy bear Nursery was recommended to me by one of my friends. My daughter and I loved it as soon as we entered. The Nursery features a very safe, happy and healthy environment for children to grow and learn. Teachers and staff are always readily available and happy to help whenever needed. Field trips are arranged time to time for extra curricular activities. Parents are updated regularly regarding their children through a progress report. My daughter has learnt a lot of social and learning skills in a short period of time. Thanks to Teddy Bear Nursery for putting a big smile on her face everyday. DarakhshanAbid (mother of Haneen Teddy3c) – 2016

“My son started Teddy Bear at 9 months of age which is hard for all parents more then their children. He adapted so well thanks to the loving care givers and all the stimulation going on inside and outside the classroom. There isn’t a dull moment in Teddy Bear and there is always new activities going on whether it is Art and Crafts, Music, outside play, gym time, splash time, classroom activities or special activities. My son is now 2 and still attends and absolutely loves it. The admin team is flexible and very helpful and I would recommend Teddy Bear to anyone”. Aniko Biller (Mother of Kevin Teddy2a) – 2016
